Default Need some advices for my cpu temp again....

I don't know what happen to my cpu, its starting to get really hot last last week.
I got core 2 duo E4500, running minimum temperature by 50C and when it loaded some programs(playing games) it reach to 80C now. Actually i got 9600gt OC version which pretty hot too(70C to 75C average). What to do?
Should i replace the heatsink and fan or apply new thermal paste then it will back to normal.....
    Need really ur advices masters.

what program were you using to measure the temps? the scale in the rise of your temps is very abnormal. mine's an E4500 too (overclocked to 3.0 Ghz) and yet, i hardly break the 50c temps. sure, re-apply the thermal paste and all, then post temps back here. if you're using CoreTemp or RealTemp, set the TjMax to 85c -- for some reason, the program uses 90c or even 100c which may be the reason why you have insane temperature(s).

am using Xigmatek Dark Knight S1283 as for the graphics card temps; they're average-high but don't worry, your GPU can take it. if you want both your processor and gpu to last long though, keep 'em cool.

I really dun mind for my vcard, 3 months old and still it has 9mos. warranty for PCX. 1 year is good enough to keep and upgrade it soon since graphics card advances so fast. You know what i mean.
Im only worried for my proc.

The Core 2 Duo's can take a lot of beating before it gives out and even so, you can't kill it instantly with temps. However, keeping it cool ensures it'll last for the years to come if you don't upgrade that often. IMO, 2 years is a good run for an overclocked processor.

also, we're the only guys talking about this so there's no need to quote my messages.
