some country fans are angry because Miley Cyrus' The Climb made it to the country chart (a song that should belong only to pop charts).
But if you listen to the song closely it has a country feel to it. remix the song and add a little steel guitar and fiddle and ou got yourself a highly produced country pop song...
Me myself is a little reluctant especially here in Cebu City where radio stations made that song "baduy"

Everytime i eat at Julie's or any karenderia who always tune in to either Energy, Star FM, Hot FM, and Killer Bee i could always catch that song being played....
Although The Climb is not a very good representation of country music (Taylor Swift is way much better. Miley is not even a country singer. Her dad is but she ain't), atleast it's getting played on Philippine Radio.
But seriously if you compare father and daughter, the father had the worst country pop hit! Achy Breaky Heart.. yukz... Even Nashville hated that song...
Anyways here's Miley Cyrus live at the Country Music Academy Awards... Kinda weird this gal shared the same stage with Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson hehehehe but i'm sure those two won't mind cause they're professionals...
