Nag try ko ug diagnostic sa ilang DSLAM cause my friend had some DSL line diagnostic equipment nakahuwam ko kadiyot hehe... well everything checked out fine with the line he even brought 3 types of router modem para ma test ang line so at least naay baseline results mi but all in all ok man from connection, dsl signal detection up to authentication until connection. the main cause seems to be that for the residential or business packages the DNS Servers of Globe both primary and secondary seem to conk out from time to time so what happens is mo time out imong connection thats why mo ingon ang browser ug dns error cannot find or something even if on pa ang dsl signal and connected ka, another thing that happens is for the authentication side there "Remote Authentication Server (RAS)" which handles the authentication of your username password combo dili ka cope up sa load of the remote authentications kay daghan kaayo or sometimes mag patay-patay this only affects those dsl modem/routers nga mo boot-up/reboot so what happens is dili ka ka login sa system sigi lag ingon authentication failed etc... ok ra ang naka login cause they are not being queried by the authentication server but para sa kadtong nag authenticate pa sorry na lang . Now since Globe has both mixed PPPoE and PPPoATM protocols running you may be caught by surprise ngan dili na mo work imong DSL cause nag switch sila from one protocol to another so better ask your Globe repair service para ipa change settings different areas sa Cebu different protocols nag dagan so watch out for this lang.

P.S. for those who have residential packages pls be reminded nga dili constant na ang inyong bandwidth it can go from 0kbps up to the maximum and back mo fluctuate na siya, only business packages have a CIR or also known as guaranteed minimum bandwidth. keep on surfing.....

ana gyud na, what i would suggest is kuha ka ug the lowest plan for each dsl provider human ana you can get one of those dual wan routers so that if mag binuang ang globe at least maka switchover ang imong router sa pldt and vice versa mao ra na ang i think solution para dili ka kalagutan sa imong customers and at the same time you can do load balancing sa imong bandwidth para dili ma kaon tanan imong bandwidth sa usa ra ka customer nga nag download ug dako kaayo
