My friend was riding a taxi going SM from fuente, sa likod cya na seat, pag abot niya sa may intersection near queensland (duol queencity) and caught by red light, before ni go signal, a man openned the back door and grabbed her cellphone (nag text2x man cya), sakto kaau ni green na ang traffic light so the taxi must move on..sus kuha gyud iya cellphone, she scream loud and asked the driver to stop but wala na mahimo kay nawala na ang nag snatched..the driver said, dapat gyud i lock ang door when you ride a taxi or even private car kay mao na daw na style krn sa mga snatchers..iya na lng gi-report sa pulis and daghan na gyud daw incident naka blotter same as what happen to her..tsk tsk tsk

tired that experience..kaso way nakuha sa akoa...i was riding a taxi on the way home sa sanciangko i locked the doors but the other side dli malock coz ana ang taxi driver guba daw.. Sa may city hospital a child was selling some fruits but i ignored the child coz d ko mopalit..i already said no den he keeps on knocking..he tried to open the door on my side kaso lock then he tired the other side na open nya..gbadlong cya sa taga motor ni ana lang ang bata "d man cya mopalit" gkasab-an cya sa driver kaso d jud nya iclose...pag go na he tried to pull my bag pero nahapakan cya sa usa nga ga motor mao na wa nya mokuha..ako greport sa brgy hall den ni ana lang ang mga tanod "bata mana d na madakop" like!!!?! Wat the?!!!

daghan jud dha sa may queensland bro... hapit pud nabiktima ako tita dha.. same japon nagsakay taxi nya gi-ablihan,,, kaso gisikad sikaran man sa ako tita ang ni abli sa door.. hehehe

and for private cars mao maglikay jud mo ana mga bata na kusog mangayo ug kwarta o mo trapo2 sa windshield kay usahay mao na sila mo sinyas... ako kay pahawa-on man dayn na nako... and better nalang jud mag a/c kay lisod na... hehehe

kasagaran ni sila mu.tira sa mga busy intersections..lock lang gyud dayun ig sakay taxi or inyo car kay lisud na..i heard a news sa manila, tulis gyud sud sa car bsta dili ma lock ang door,on daylight pa gyud..

I had witnessed a snatching from a taxi passenger at Macarthur Blvd. as well. Same modus operandi. Best to lock ALL doors are soon as you are in a taxi even the front seat door or
when you are in your car. If your car has central locks you can enable the option which automatically locks all doors when you either reach a certain speed or when you disable your handbrake.

But if a gun is pointed at you.... that is another story.give the bastard whatever he wants to be sure he will not hurt you. Whatever you may lose you can earn it back. A life lost is gone forever.
