Converting PS2 Slim to reading games from a hard disk

Anyone knows where can I have my PS2 slim converted to be able to load games from a Hard disk instead of DVD?

i heard playing the slim via isolader wasn't the great because the ps2 slim was only usb 1.1. the ps2 phat with the network adaptor was a better solution.

i could be wrong though
