you can format it in Windows. use the disk management snap in and make sure to uncheck quick format para low level ang formatting. if you're familiar with command prompt, you can format it from there as well.

this of course if the hard drive you intend to format isn't the root drive used by the operating system. else, you can use your Windows installation disc and start recovery console (XP) or command prompt from Recovery Environment (Vista or later).

that wont do low-level format.... data from that procedure can still be recovered.........

blank raman ang ge ingon sa thread starter, not on recovery of old files inside. Just be sure bro na walay scandals sa hard disk or else you have to use a file shredder to completely destroy those scandals hehehe.

Ah I get it, the word "blank" used meaning unrecoveralbe na jud ang files? Naa separate software ana that I am using.

Pwede nimo i slave then didto ka format. Pwede ra sad nimo i delete ang partition para blank tanan.

the true low level format is very risky. brown out lang gamay and you have a dead hard drive. ingon ana ra nga format akong gi suggest para safe sa TS. 2~3 runs, enough na siguro.
