NTDLR is Missing!!!

Hi guys,

Naa koy na encounter na error sa pag install nako sa new OS na windows2000, the error is" NTDLR is missing please restart your computer" pero if ako na e restart same problem will appear. can somebody help me how to solve this problem....

If it happens again, you might wanna check your hard drive. Could be failing.

My take is you need to start your computer using the windows xp cd. Then use the recovery console. Once the command line comes up do the necessary login. Type fixmbr and fixboot. There is another command that lets you configure the boot loader but I forgot. Just type HELP to see the commands. I once had this problem when that damn buggy norton ghost virtual partition screwed up my hard drive. It attempted to write but it failed so when i rebooted, my system complained about NTLDR. Let me know if this fixed your problem.

A warning, some console commands have the option to destroy your drive. Read the dialogue messages before proceeding.

try checking ur cable connection basig na loose lang or naay samad imo cables, if not re instal o.s.

hmm...could be that the first sector of your hard drive is bad. i have encountered that one before..its where ntldr is..i think.

check for bad memory too. sometimes a bad ram will not load ntldr properly and will declare it missing.

bag o lang jud ko ka encounter ana. mikalit lang ug sulat ntdlr missing. gi check na nako tanan hardware, cable etc ok ra man. re install jud ko oi. kapoya jud nuon. pero mi ok na. ambot ug unsa jud hinungdan ato. kinsa may nakabalo kha dha. shed light gamay b.

ok,,just boot ur computer form cd,,then e repair lang bro..it will be gone,,;
