its definitely a high clocker....there is a very loose definition of what we can call a "golden chip"...the generally accepted one @ XS is (stock mhz X 2) w/in manufacturer's voltage specs...

poldo - thats about right for most DO's. i can cpu validate at 4ghz @ 1.18-1.19v also. "Golden" if it scales well above 4.5-4.6ghz. Push it

HT "off" our DO batch sclales okay at 4.4-4.5 ghz but HT "on" is a different story

Here's a screenshot of a quick prime. 4ghz @ 1.176v.



Try see how well that chip scales above 4.4 - 4.5ghz and at what voltage, you should encounter temp issues at the very least at these clocks. Let us know of developments.

will tell the owner to see how it scales beyond the 4.2 GHz, i reckon it'll hit the temp limit before the voltage is maxed out.

polds, sa akoa @ 4.2 ghz naa na sa 85 deg ang max tem running prime for 1 hour using megahalem + DK fans. Switched the fans to delta and max temp drop to 78 on prime for 8 hours.
