services with vague conditions (BEWARE!!!)

Dear Fellow Istoryans,

Beware of availing services that have vage conditions specially with unwritten agreements.

Lately i was fooled by someone who offered equipment services promising that our security deposit is refundable but it turned out to be misleading when we decided not to continue their services. by law security deposits are refundable to the extent if monthly dues are not paid.

Therefore be aware that before any transaction, a MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) should be drafted and signed by both parties. and always ask for a legitimate official receipt for every transaction that involves financial endorsement.

I have learned my lesson well but painfully because we never got our security deposit back and got stuck with an equipment that's depreciating as time goes by.

But let this be a warning to all that are planning to avail any specialized services.

what was the service that you availed? who did not return the deposit...
why did they not return the deposit...

I really appreciate your empathy on the matter... My ninong advice me not to name names nalang daw kay it might be used against me daw.
