tinood ni.. naa koy frnd grad. xag Commerse dn after ana naa rah xa sa SM nag Salegrl.. ako xa g ask Y kana u work g kuha dba graduate ka.. then she answerd ( ni apply man q dn wala man q madawat gd sayang au ako pagskwela marag wala magamit mao dri nlng q ng salesgrl atleast naa koy income)

education prepares you to be somebody in the future

Imagine uneducated person...most of them are doing hard labor jobs tsk tsk.
Imagine educated person...most of them get employed be in corporate world, technology etc and etc.

In your friend's case, she is a graduate of commerce and end up working as a sales girl...you see in our country, competition of getting hired is really stiff pretty obvious and due to economic issues...instead of pursuing what she studied she ended up working as a sales girl...maybe the foundation of her education is not good enough.

Although I have always disrespected the quality of education that is being offered by our private schools, I would still say it's better than not getting any at all.

Getting a degree no matter how useless or low standard our so-called universities are, still gives you more OPTIONS in life after school compared to someone who does not have a "degree" at least in paper - in paper because in our school system, we are mainly thought to PASS exams and not to WORK in our chosen field or industry. Still, a degree in paper is still worth something when the time comes that you will have to SELL yourself to a prospective employee.

Ergo, no matter how useless it may seem, a degree still gives you MORE OPTIONS and that's always a good thing. However, life after school is where the real lesson and learning comes in for MOST of us and we have our MONEY-DRIVEN educational system to blame for this.

In your friends case, she's just a sales lady because that's how she perceives herself to be among peers. She has tried getting a better job however, she could not get hired so her self-esteem got low enough to think she just deserves to be a sales lady in a department store. No offense to her position, if she was in a developed country, she would still end up with a great income and more importantly, she would have the dignity and respect of a professional.

If anyone thinks he/she does not need at least a "paper" degree in this country, he/she better make sure he has enough fallback/options to stand on his/her own. Just imagine, even the sons/daughters of our country's tycoons are being sent to school (wherever it may be) so there might be a good reason for it.

no wat i mean is .. bisan pag nag minyo ka ug sau or wala naa ghapon malas sa Kinabuhi.. just lyk my frnd graduate xa dn la pa xa na minyo pero kron galisod xa pag au sa ya lyf coz usa ra xa ka sales lady.. ang Gusto nko IPa sabot Graduation or Finishing ur Course is the the key of your success... i know naa kay ma dawat nga options coz sa imong mga nakat.onan..... but stll ur future dpends on you not on ur Course ug dli sa pag graduate ug usa ka course.. we know some of us na Swertihan jud kay na dato cla coz of dr work dn graduate cla... SOME lang But dli tanan mo graduate ma.ingon ana..as in mo asenso or ma dato.. wat about ang uban nga naning kamot mo graduate kay pobre dn dli pd kaau utokan.. but naning kamot xang mo graduate .. inig human sa graduation unsaon nman to cla?? dba naay nag tll nga ang pagpangitag work dri sa pinas is Competition jud, unsaon man tong mga ubos gamay? ma tabunan nlng cla sa mga arangan ug utok nila... unsa nman mahitabo sa ilang g eskwelahn? ilang future??

Y naa may ingon anah??.. UNfair sa uban nga ni Eskwela dba.. most of sa Mga Artista wala naka human sa pag Eskwela but kwartahan nah... I just Wanna Tll sa Tanan nga Ang Atong FURTUNE kay wala sa PAg Eskwela.. Kundi naa sa PAg paningkamot sa Trabaho ug NEgosyo.. eheh correct me im wrong.. Tnx... peace
