Its not the price of the console that matters, its the games that you prefer which are avalable to that console.

Things to think about when buying your next gen console:

Will it have the games (titles and genre) I want?
Am I willing to purchase legit software?

Since some form of online action is the other half of what you're getting yourself into, you might want to start thinking about getting the real deal software. Sure some work arounds are available but they are no longer guaranteed to work all the time. I'm pretty sure that Microsoft's got something available online (or a downloadable) update due for the current firmware-trick. Sony's been smarter by having games that require updates (online or downloaded).

When I'm talking about HDMI, Dolby, Blu-Ray, HDDVD, HDTV.. Should I count the bells and whistles that I'll be able to use?

Everyone's got their own little grade book when deciding which console to go for. When purchasing your console, you will be thinking about what your new toy CAN do? That's the wrong question to ask yourself. Rephrasing it, the better question would be: Will I be able to take advantage of it?

this is the line --------- cross it. i dare you

I prefer the PlayStation Titiles so ill go PS3 all the way and forget xbox and wii
also b4 il get a PS3 i still have to check for the avalability of bootleg ( like everyone else who cant afford legit ) then lastly how stable the mod on the console is, the reason why i skipped PS2 is there was really no appealing title that came out, unlike the days of PS1
