Default Problem regarding windows xp boot-up

Situation: There are no error beeps when initializing the POST. The unit can display the computer information and the asus logo. However, when it starts to load the windows xp, a black screen appears and the keyboard led won't blink when you press the numlock key...
Unsa kaha ang problema ani, power supply, hdd or OS? Please help

Try to disable boot from USB or USB Emulation. if you don't have the option, try to use a PS2 keyboard. This is a common issue with USB devices plugged in during startup. Are you using a USB keyboard or any other devices pre-plugged in?

ang ako kay ma-detect sa bios but dili ma-butangan ug OS. Di ba kung mag install ka kay naa man jud nang "Please press any key to boot from CD". Inig press nako ug key, total black screen dayon, no hdd led activity and numlock LED won't blink when pressing numlock key.

Akong motherboard kay ASUS P5PE-VM. Karon ako gisuwayan ug 6 gb IDE Hdd, successfull man, naka-install pa. Pero kung ibalik nako ang akong 160 gb SATA Hdd, kutob ra jud sa Asus Logo. Dili kalahos sa windows xp nga logo. By the way, bios nako is American Megatrends.

    here are my questions:
Unsaon kaha ni nako pag-configure sa bios?
kinahanglan ba ko mo-update sa ako bios?
