on GENERAL TRANSCRIPTION'S SIDE:

General transcription, unlike Medical transcription, which is only dealing with medical field, we're dealing with both medical and non-medical field.. mostly on MARKETING RESEARCH. they interview people, all walks of life (doctors, physicians, engineer, etc... even a bum) about a product if they're about to do business out of it. So they video/audio taped (record) it and then they send their AUDIO FILE to the company we're catering, and then the company will send it to us to do the transcription...

okey ra jud ang American accent... the only thing about transcription is you have to transcribe every word they say... Now imagine transcribing 9 people talking simultaneously... it just blows my mind...
