P2P softwares have long since been wrought with legal issues. The sites I've visited say they're LEGAL but it all boils down to technicalities that create more confusion.

And by the way, are softwares like Free Music Zilla legal?

I'd really like to phrase my question this way since asking whether such things are legal only seem to give me YES/NO answers:

Where does it say that P2P application and softwares like Free Music Zilla are EXPRESSLY ILLEGAL? And I'd like sources and links to websites please, so I could see it for myself. =)
