kinsa nga mga modern R'nB and Soul artists inyo ganahan? I'm not talking about bubblegum pop posing as rnb/soul (beyonce, brandy, chris brown, rihanna). im talking about the real deal rnb/soul.

Rhythm and blues

The term has subsequently had a number of shifts in meaning. Starting in the 1960s, after this style of music contributed to the development of rock and roll, the term R&B became used - particularly by whiteelectric blues, as well as gospelsoul music. By the 1970s, the term groups — to refer to music styles that developed from and incorporated and rhythm and blues was being used as a blanket term to describe soul and funk. Since the 1990s, the term Contemporary R&B is now mainly used to refer to a modern version of soul and funk-influenced pop music.

Nuff said. Rnb is a vast and changing genre, there's no such thing as real deal Rhythm and Blues. An album doesn't have to sound like a Sam Cooke record for it to be "certified" RnB. Hell I don't like some of the artists under Motown records, but that doesn't mean they don't know jack about the genre.

Edit: What's next? Sean Paul and Collie Buddz aren't reggae because they're not as bohemian as Bob or Peter Tosh was in their day?
