CASTLEDOOR, and indie rock band (and remnants of the boyband PLUS ONE)

u might wonder what happened to those boybands that just disappeared without a trace.

i only know of two since im not a boyband fan.

MyTown who got a hit back in 1999 with Now That I Found You is now a pop rock band(with instruments that is) called The Script with a hit called The Man Who Can't Be Moved.

Plus One who got a hit called Last Flight Out in 2001 disappeared without a trace after their 3rd album Exodus, an album of Coldplayque materials.

Then just now as i was browsing the blogosphere, i found this band Castledoor...

Something's really familiar with that lead singer's voice so i checked their profile and true enough, lead singer is Nate Cole with guitarist Gabe Combs, the two guys from Plus One.

But Castledoor's music is far from Plus One. It falls somewhere between My Morning Jacket and Rooney (infact Rooney's guitarist produced the new album)
