i have a problem with my enclosure cable.. everytime i transfer large file size (from or to my enclosure) the connection will be cut.. sometimes i can hear tiktak from the enclosure which is symptoms for power shortage.
now im looking for a usb - usb2.0 cable for my enclosure which will solve my problem..
what would be your recommendation/suggestion for this?
help is highly appreciated..

That sounds more like a harddrive issue.

as you've said clunging sound on your enclosure, it must be the HDD problem.

Mura jud bro for me its not the enclosure cguro its the hdd...when you said ticktack sound obviously hdd jud na ang prob. Pero try change the cable USB if mag work cya if USB imo gamit pud.

tiktak using usb enclosure? low power na imu hdd bro. try inserting ur usb cable sa mobo usb ports niya (luyo sa casing), insert the 2 usb cables(ang usa supplementary voltage pra sa hdd). ayaw paslak sa front panel na usb, usually hinay iya voltage/current dha.

Kong naa kalain nga enclosure para ma test jud nimo try to change cables and HDD..

but if lain na cable ako gamiton mawala naman ang tiktak.. like kanang sa nokia na usb-usb2.0 gani.. ok naman xa.. but usahay lagi maputol labi na bug-at imo etransfer na files..
ni try ko ask sa octagon sa SM.. kana gani shielded na cable. but dili man nila epa testing gud bsta d nimu bayaran.. d palang mugana ghapon.

lisud pud na mo tingog ang hdd hehehehe... murag lahi napud na... sa ako na case ako na bantayan dali ra jud maghuba kani bitaw "y-usb cable" if maka try kag palit katong direct usb bro sa akong gi post sa imong thread i think maka help na bro.... palit og philips na enclosure kay direct to usb deli naka gamit atong y usb cable... mao pud akong gamit so far la jud blema... if nahan ka then go for silverstone enlosure para sureball
