i have a new laptop so i'm paranoid about getting virus/trojan/malware/adware/spyware. what software do i use to download mp3? i've been using limewire in my old pc and it has always worked great for me, but there's problem of getting a virus.
is limewire still ok to use? i have an updated Kaspersky 2009 anti-virus nuOn. but unsa na balita? does it have spywayre/adware?
any other recommendations?

there are legal mp3 in case you haven't noticed. HOW i download them isn't the question, it's WHERE. the question itself is valid. people would answer by giving me ILLEGAL or LEGAL sources, but that's up to them. links to sites which offer "sharing" of copyrighted materials are not the only means of getting mp3 - big surprise there.

1. First Result

- Naay mga searches na exact jud kaau sa file name na imu gi-type although you know deep inside na walay ing-ana na name, mugawas gihapon siya sa search result.
- Same sad ni siya sa number 1. They are very connected. Kay ang pinaka-first na result na mugawas kay exact jud kaau sa filename na imu gi-type.
- Also, naa pud nay results na pare-pareha ra ug file name and file size but different ang file type [mp3, wav, rar]. They are all viruses
3. File Size
- You are downloading a .MP3 file or better known as a song. If ang result na imu gi-select kay gamay kaau ug file size [usually more or less 300 KB] kay virus na. Klase-klase na sila. Some kay virus jud. Some kay MP3, WAV, and even RAR. Again, viruses na. Ang file size sa song kay more or less mga 5 MB.
If updated imu Kaspersky, then no problem. Once makalusut jud ang virus sa limewire, naa bitaw kay antispyware and anti-malware.
Also, search lang pud sa google for some songs. hehheeh...

hey guys dont make this a big deal ok.
@ts, sir just use limewire and maintain a decent anti-virus, and also if your limewire is pro, it offers additional protection.
