death is part of life, my friend. we should not only cope with it, we should embrace it.

my grandma just passed away. she lived up to the very ripe age of 88, died of old age, and saw all of us before she went. when i think of her, all i remember is her loving care and stories and hugs and smiles. it makes me teary-eyed sometimes, but somehow i get comforted by the fact that she is so alive in all of us that she can't be really gone, you know what i mean?
