i'v tried it na and it's quite risky masking unsaon pagstorya.. naa times mutubo imung geinvest other times dili.. it's just like stock market pero mas less risk lang ang mutual funds but still risky gehapon.. if you have excess money, i guess it's ok to invest but wala gani, ayaw nalang..

it's risky if you don't know what you're going into... but based on the forum i attended last night in City Sports club, now is the best time to invest in stock-based nga mutual fund. I cannot give you the information right now for the basis of this, but if you can get in touch with a mutual fund manager, maybe they can educate you... lisod man gud if diri ra mag-expound sa details... you need to get the info from those who are really learned about mutual fund.

before starting to invest diay sa mutual fund, you have to know first WHY you're investing... you need to have a goal before investing in it. if long term imong investment, mutual fund and other stock based investment can give you really good returns. dili ka magpa-da sa mga short-term volatility... only take out your investment when you NEED the funds, not because the fund is down... THAT IS ONE IMPORTANT STEP BEFORE MAKING AN INVESTMENT IN MUTUAL FUND, or any other kind of investment.

Totally agree with you bro. For short term savings, ok ang bank, risky ang MF... but for long term goals, mas risky ang bank.
