You feel cold or somekinda shivering in response to the increase of your body's temperature.
And because you're body is heating up in particular purpose to fight whats its cause, the environment outset temperature is colder than your hypothalamus expects so although you're heating up, you feel cold, shivering and clamminess. The brain bluffs your body into thinking that its normal temperature is now too low and it has to warm up.
