    Talking PS3 as Blu-Ray player

Who is using the PS3 as a bluray-player only?
How do you "feed" the ps3? Using the internal HDD, using a flashdrive, external harddrive, streaming?

I use the PS3 exclusively as a BD player, and not for gaming.
I feed my BD movies from a PC, connected via a gigabit lan to the PS3.
For the media server, I use PS3 media server, which allow me to play just any kind of video format, including mkv.

I would like to know your experience.

I have only a handful of BD discs, but about 1TB of HD movies on the PC, so I am better done by streaming them... they are mostly in vob or mkv format, with DTS 5.1 and DD 5.1, and they look just awesome on my screen.

I believe it must look amazing. I only have a 720p HD projector in my home theater, so I cannot compare... but even with 720p, and a 135" screen, it still looks amazing. Hope that I can upgrade one day to a 1080p projector.
I am just amazed how good the ps3 as a BD player is. Even loading a BD disc is faster than most BD player out there.
