i just bought a gigabyte ep43-us3l mobo for my budget rig and it came w/ an oc utility. is it ok to use the oc utility? the utility came in had three oc modes: 2.7ghz, 2.95ghz and 3.15ghz.
my specs:
processor: intel c2d e4400
cpu cooler:arctic freezer pro 7
ram: Team Group Xtreem-Dark-1066 2x1 GB DDR2-800 DDR2
mobo:gigabyte ep43-us3l

Yeah, pwede raman but i prefer the good old BIOS overclocking instead of the utility. There's a good chance you'll corrupt your windows installation with these utilities since Windows has already started and is in the memory. They look easy and enticing and all that but if you go through the BIOS, you'll understand a lot more things than sliding bars, changing values and hitting apply.

one more thing...these software oc utilities that come with the mobo are quite "generous" in giving additional voltages to ur processor/nb/rams...basin masunod in the long run...

hi, ask lng npud ko aha jud mkita ang real na kakusog sa ako cpu? sa lahi2 na mga utility k lahi2 pud ang speed.. sa mobo na utility k 1.8ghz, ang cpuz k pareha japon.. pero sa everest k 2.xx. halp
