hi istoryans,

My laptop somehow na yab an og mineral water sa keyboard,pero mo on pa cya ,goes into windows,BUT some keys are not functioning na coz it got spilled by water...Maayo pa ni cya or saun mani?pa et pud mag usb keyboard ko... tnx for replies

guba keyboard sir.. kung naa pa repair warranty pa repair lang mosulod pa man kaha sa windows, basin ang keys lang ang nadaot. hopefully.

You have no choice but to use usb keyboard bro.
What's your laptop by the way?
To prevent this kind of accident you should buy keyboard protector for your laptop.

you should be thankfull, water damage sometimes do unforseen damage...but if can still turn on good for you., way back in manila, i got a replacement (2nd Hand) KB for a compaq C-series laptop(out of warranty) from a local laptop shop for 1.5K, it depends what brand and model..

It really helps in protecting your keyboard from dust, water spills, and fading of keys.

@jhnpl: your right bro pero its too late na siguro kay naa naman keys nga dili mo detect bro...@TS better send it to repair center para ma limpyohan ang mga remaining water spill sa imo keys lisod na if magka worst pa jud di na mo on ang PC.

Water can be a catalyst for corrosion for internal parts sa imo laptop or any electrical gadget. Have your laptop checked by the authorized service center.

Swerte ka bro namu andar pa imo laptop.

I remember this incident: Cellphone (ga standby mode) na tagak sa pool. Pag retrieve, never turn it on. Go to service center ug have it dried up (para water & moisture ma wala). May gani ok pa ang cellphone after drying.
