Default Questions abour Dram and bios

if i set my dram voltage at 2.0 voltage and my cpuz says 1.8 which voltage should i follow? is it the voltage of my ram is recomended? or the cpuz voltage? coz ani man gud ni siya ang naka butang sa akong memory deri sa gawas kay 2.1- 2.2 then ako gi set sa board og 2.0 but if ako i check sa cpuz ang butang ra dd2 kay 1.8 asa man jud correct ani nila?

Anothere thing do we really have to up top date our bios in our motherboard? does it really improves performance?

mas updated bios mas maayo naa man mga fixes ang kada bios release sir kabz
ok rana oi ang sunda ang voltage sa bios nga reading naa man gud usahay na dili kaayo ma detect sa cpu z og tarong or uban software pang monitor e try daw check gamit sa everest or hw monitor if same rabag basa sa voltage

lagi libog jud ko ani cpuz kay diba 8500 is to 1066 and 6400 is to 800 nig detect sa everest kay 1066 8500 sa cpuz kay 6400 - gi usab na nako ang timings sa cas mao na hasta ang voltage... atot ani oi maka libog ani bro........ waaaaaaaaaaa sir asa man jud ko folow sa cpu z or sa ram nga recomended na supply niya. naka butang deri 2.1-2.2 need jud siguro ko mo update sa akong bios sa........ same rajud ang ma detect voltage niya sa everest og cpuz ako nalang ni 1.8 guro oi... ako lang sa ni update akong bios....

^ imong pasabot sa 1.8 kanang sa SPD nga tab?

di na mao ang voltage sa imong memory kung gi hard set nimo sa BIOS at 2.0 volts. kanang table sa SPD (serial presence detect) nga tab is mao na ang mga voltage nga gamiton sa motherboard for your memory if you leave it at auto at the corresponding frequency.

    for example if column 1:

266MHz Frequency @ CAS4, Voltage is set at 1.8 volts, it means that your ram can run at this speed kung i-set nimo ang motherboard to use the SPD (auto). 1.8 volts is the standard for DDR2 SDRAM as per JEDEC, the regulating body of memory and other electronic devices. The SPD table merely shows the available SPD values sa imong ram for the motherboard to use.

para mas dali sabton, think of SPD as preset values nga naa sa imong memory, mao ni basahon sa BIOS kung unsaon niya pag set ang memory.

    **edit**

if you are using the branded rams specially sa mga overclocking rams, check the documentation or the packaging, naa diha information as to kung unsa nga frequency and latency at a given voltage -- i hard set pana nimo sa BIOS para mo take effect. most of the time, wala ni nakabutang sa SPD sa memory itself mao na nga kung naka auto ka sa BIOS, standard SPD as regulated by JEDEC iyang gamiton.

i hope wala ka nalibog sa akong explanation.
