Hey guys! What do you think about Manny taking on Cotto after the Hatton fight. IMHO, Arum is in a win/win situation here. Aside from, both of them are under his promotional company, he sees that Manny is about to retire soon and that Cotto is his second brightest star. If Manny gets wiped out by Cotto (which I think he will be), Cotto may take the pound4pound title and that means more money for Arum. I have to admit, this is a smart move by Arum but not good for our Hero. Cotto is just too big for Manny. It's like putting a Gazelle in a Lion's den... I could be wrong, but what have you to say bout this

i give manny a big chance against cotto. cotto is slow and had difficulty in handling slick fighters like judah and his chin is not rock solid. he may have power but i believe manny can take his power because manny comes in the ring in superb condition.

I will never EVER count Manny Pacquiao out in any fight. But fighting Cotto is a tall order for Manny.

It all boils down to the money involved. I wouldn't even count on this match ever happening, Manny's next stop after Hatton is politics nothing more

Indeed... Arum is a business man. He's just pushing Manny to the limits... extracting as much as he can before he retires... This is a bad idea IMHO... Better take on Marquez than Cotto...
