Are you referring external IP / Internet IP? if so there are many ways. There are many downloadable programs out there, just google it. If you know a little programming, some scripts are also available.. a little research will do. Or, you can also click this link http://www.swlink.net/~styma/REMOTE_ADDR.shtml to display your Internet IP. :mrgreen:Originally Posted by dontknowmewho
if you got a BB router, you can configure port-forwarding there for the remote-admin software connection port to the terminal that you want to control and then use DDNS if you dont have a static global IP address for your router.
are you using static or dynamic public IP?
mga bro,
static IP address ako gamit.unya wala koy router gikan sa hub tanan dayun sa Broadband modem.gusto naku mahibaw-an ako NAT Address or Internet Address mga bro para maka access ko sa server naku naa sa internet cafe remotely.thanks
bro i think u need a router nga nka enable ang remote configuration..sa imu network ana
pwede ra na gamitan ug sorfware mga bro... naa man daghan software para ana, pero baligya lang lagi.
with the setup you mentioned, you really have a router somewhere (my guess is the modem you mentioned...it may be a broadband router itself)...if this is the case, you should be able to modify its settings (btw, are you using Pldt or Globe dsl?)
I am using Globe broadband.thanks to all
check your broadband router kung manageable ba? if so pwede ka mag port forwarding as suggested by MK. daghan mga software for remote control usa niini ang PCAnywhere.
