Margarito's boxing license revoked

Antonio Margarito has had his boxing license revoked by the California State Athletic Commission.
Also having his license revoked at the hearing was Javier Capetillo, Maragrito's trainer, who testified he "accidentally" implanted hard pads into the front of Margarito's gloves before his fight January 24 against Shane Mosley.

Capetillo claimed he accidentally pulled an insert from his bag and put it inside Margarito's knuckle wrapping.

"I committed a big mistake," Capetillo said. "I don't want this young man to have problems. I'm here to cover any responsibility. I take full responsibility. I committed this innocent mistake."

The panel could not believe that Margarito, represented by noted attorney Daniel Petrocelli, did not know about the foreign substance inside his gloves.

boxing is a brutal sport, cheating is totally unacceptable! it could end the opponents life for God's sake!!! Team Margarito & Antonio Margarito himself should be banned from boxing! Those W's from Cintron and Cotto are won by cheating for sure..

that was not a mistake kay kung sayop pato, dili ang duha ka kamot ang naay hard pads. Too bad nasakpan sila. Now all of margaritos win will have doubts since we do not know when they started using this pads "accidentally".
