Connect it directly to a PC. Use http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or whatever your Linksys Router's IP is.
E-Configure dayon diha. Set man cguro og DHCP client imong router settings and not fixed IP. Google how to configure your router.
    Cheers!

If your router has a dsl port with it, then just clone mac address of the modem you have and set aside your modem and put your telephone wire directly to your router without the modem. DHCP should be enabled to be convenient.

    Note:
Check your modem connection if its connected to the WAN port, it could be connected to a LAN port, the reason it wont work. Have you installed the router software? Anyway, the best configuration is to clone the Mac Address of your Modem and put your telephone line directly to your router considering has a dsl port.

    good luck

pagchur oi. ngano dili gud pwedi butangan og router ang broadband sa globe. ang modem sa globelines, sila ang mo provide. if naa built in nga router/ethernet ang modem ila i provide aw mas ok. if gusto nimo butangan og router, i configure na nimo ang wan if static ang ip para automatic ra mo dial ang router pero if dili static, mura ra nag plug and play with few configurations. tanawa lang ang manual or wizard sa cd nga dala

*We will use the router to act as a switch*

Ani rana bro.. mao ni current setup nako sa house.
    1. Be sure that DHCP in your globe modem is already activated.
    2. Configure your PC with a static IP address like
    IP: 192.168.1.5.
    Subnet: auto provide
gateway: ip sa globe modem (192.168.1.1)
    DNS:ip sa globe modem (192.168.1.1)
    3. Dont connect yet your PC to globe modem.
    4. Connect your PC to your Linksys router.
    5. Enter you Linksys router's config via web browser (http://192.168.1.1) (you may enter user and password)
    6. Disable your Linksys DHCP.
    7. Change Linksys IP address like http://192.168.1.10.. (i use this ip in my case)
    8. ..and Save changes.
    9. Pwedi ra dli unplug ang imong cable sa imong PC sa new router.
    10. Get a staight thru cable and connect the other end sa globe modem and other end sa one of the switch port sa linksys.
    * yaw ibutang sa WAN sa router kay dli ghapon na modagan.. we will not using the WAN anyway kay adto ta mo link dritso sa globe modem
    11. ok nana bro.. =) ngun.ana ra..

    note:
*if you want a dynamic address you can re configure your pc for that. pero ok raman to ang static.
*yaw ibutang sa WAN sa router kay dli ghapon na modagan.. kay ni act naman na as switch

tell me if dli ghapon mogana.. kay i.review nako ang steps basin naa kulang..

    i hope nakatabang. daghang salamat.

Now, computers serviced by router Linksys (directly connected by Ethernet cable) will be assigned DHCP by Globe router, within the 192.168.0.* network, together with DNS assignments. Router Linksys is just another IP node on Globe's modem network. Any LAN computer can access and configure router Linksys by accessing it as 192.168.0.10. All computers will be on the same network subnet and so they will have access to each other for file and printer sharing.

    @All

Sorry to tell you all but the steps above is quite confusing to the TS.

The issue here is the modem and the router has the same IP address so basically it is conflict so he needs to change the IP address on any of his device (modem or router).

You need to login to your router configuration page by typing the router IP address (Linksys default IP address 192.168.1.1)

In the Setup tab, under the Network Setup you can see the Local IP adress you need to change it (ex. 192.168.10.1) and Save the settings.

For the Internet Setup just use Automatic Configuration - DHCP
