Default Do you totally trust doctors?

Last year, around March to June, my lola had a kidney complication where she had to undergo dialysis thrice a week. Her creatinine was very high it reached to 6 niya taas na ka na siya. Normal kay below 1. ( mu ask niya ko ako mama pila an normal siya man nag asikaso about ani) Around June, dili na namo maka kaya ang expenses ni lola niya cge siya gawas sud sa hospital. My lolo decided nga i stop nalang jd ang dialysis kay cge mag luya akong lola and dili jd siya ganhan mu kaon. Daghan kau gi bawal akong lola ato para ma ubos jd iyang creatinine. To make a long story short, ni decide jd akong lolo na let's just wait until you know, akong lola, mu join na ni Lord. Dili na jd namu maka ya ang expenses ato daghan na kau mi utang.

Just this month, actually gabie nakuha ang results sa lab test ni lola. Gikan pag June, karon rasad namu gi pa lab test akong lola. She stopped undergoing dialysis from June up to now. Ang iyang creatinine ni ubos ug 1.68. Na ning2 jd ko. Katong nag dialysis pa akong lola niya daghan pa jd gi bawal nga pag kaon wa jd ni abot ani nga level iyang creatinine. Sauna katong cge pa siya dialysis iyang range sa creatinine niya kay 6 to 5 jd inatawon. usahay mu ubos lang ug mga pipila ka points. Karon wala namu siya gi bawal ug mga pag kaon. We just let her ate bisag unsa iyang gusto kay we thought hapit na jd (if you know what i mean). Mas ni lag sik jd akong lola karon. I'm so thankful to God nga gi hatagan paniya ug taas nga kinabuhi akong lola.

After this one, di na kau ko mu trust ug mga doctors. Unless naay explanation what happened to my lola's creatinine nga nganong ubos na nuon kau (with no dialysis, walay bawal na pagkaon, the only medication she's taking ryt now kay kanang sa heart nalang) niya katong cge pa siya dialysis taas nuon kau iyang creatinine niya daghan pa jd bawal pag kaon.

i have an uncle doctor cya, pero dili cya mu take sa iyang own meds,

he prefer's herbal meds, i dunno why..

kung top notcher sa board or etc, bright ra sa theory, not sa experience.

better yet, trust your instincts nalang when finding a doctor, ma feel raman na nimo if maayo ba or dili, not because of his scholastic records lang.

Having witnessed an erroneous medical invasive treatment to a loved one has taught me to always seek for a second or even a third opinion...

^^bitaw. i always do the same in almost every situation. seek for a second or third opinion.

we have a family doctor, c dr. tautjo sa medical arts. he's been our doctor for ages na. i think he's in his 50's or 60's na. sakto jud c madmike, sa experience jud na basihan, dili sa scholastic records..

anyway, i wish the best for your lola. God is the only One who can help us after all..
