Before I go to bed, this question was thrown on air @ a radio station, and has been bugging me since.

Why do girls fall for the man opposite their ideal man?

When girls are asked about their ideal man, it's like we can predict the answers right? tall, kind, sense of humor, smells good, dresses well, etc

... and then boom they're in a relationship with goths, tattooed people (no pun intended, i hope non taken), pierced people (no pun intended also), etc.

I lol'd. Not consistent enough? Since I'm still single I'll try to dig my ideal man for the second time.

this kinda reminds of what people say, that in a relationship the girl is hoping for the day the guy will change. but he doesn't. the guy on the other hand hopes for the girl to NOT change. but she does ... amm basta something like that.

so tingali some girls pick a rotten dude in the hopes that someday she turns him into her ideal man.

it's like a guy defines "ideal girl" according to her features, while a girl looks at the guy's potentials.

now i'm not sure if i'm even making any sense at all

i agree, inasmuch as there is no 'ideal girl' also.. that is why its called an ideal.. from your mere thoughts or idea lang...

am in this times it's not questionable about girls likes the opposite of there ideal man not but not all girls are like that and for man some also likes the opposite of there ideal girl but also not all man are like that

but at least the girl can pick a man "close" enough to her ideals. that is acceptable IMO.

what I'm wondering about is why does it have to be the exact opposite of every trait you want in your ideal man?
