It would be one of the worst tragedies in the history of the world to compare the writings of any modern author to the masterpieces of William Shakespeare.

Even likening the works of J.K. Rowling to that of the late Prof. J.R.R. Tolkien is a great shame.

    And Harry Potter still sucks.

Shakepeare of course. Da Vinci was never an author, he was a great sculpturist and an artist.

da Vinci's writing were notes, not novels or stories (at least that's what i know)... but if you compare the two regarding their art, I'd go with da Vinci simply because I've never read any Shakespeare.. hehehe. But if what he means is Dan Brown and Shakespeare, bah, i dont have an opinion worth writing.. I've only read one of Dan Brown's books (Da Vinci Code), well, i found it to be not that well written.. I think The Da Vinci Code is overrated... that's just my humble opinion though.. i still would really like to read Dan's Angels and Demons..

and yes, i think making fun of the thread starter isn't really necessary..
