Its not advisable at all if you don't know what you are doing. That has nothing to do with Vista.
Editing or removing the wrong entries could kill your OS.

Why is that so?In XP you can regedit, but in VISTA you can't. By the way, why naka sulti ka nga editing or removing the wrong entries could kill the OS? Have you tried it or just your GUESS?

huh? You can if you really want to. Bisan unsa pa na na OS, regedit is not advisable unless you know what you are doing.

Sure you can... Just make sure that you start regedit with admin rights...

    I am not guessing anything...

This one had me laughing. As what softtouch said you can edit it but with admin rights. To back him up, he is definitely not guessing, try removing those registry files and see how your OS/PC becomes.

Removing/Editing the registry is really not advisable but if you know what you are doing then go for it.

    btw blackdronza no pun intended.

regedit is one of the areas that you should not dig into unless you know what you are doing and what you are doing can improve performance over stability.

pag ship anang mga OS ila na nang gisiguro nga stable na siya bro, ayaw na lang na hilabti.

if it ain't broke, break it
