mga bro im willing to buy computer processor of at least 3.0Gz and dual core unsay maayo nga brand AMD? or INTEL? or OTHERS. Why man?

based sa imong specs gi pangayo bro, Intel ra mn ang naa 3.0GHz up nga dual-core. right now, AMD dual-cores are not clocked 3GHz up but has a better performance that Intel's dual-cores

Between AMD and Intel it depends on 2 factors, First what are you going to do with the system, more on games/office apps/webdesign/3D animation or rendering? Second personal preference.

For me i prefer AMD no matter what application i use, but some people swear by Intel on specific applications such as 3DStudioMax/CaD apps and other programs that are specifically made for HT/SSE3 and Intel Architecture.
Lets not talk about AM2 or Conroe as they are still vapor ware.
Im not aware of the latest pricing for AMD and Intel here in cebu but from what i heard Intel has the best Budget Dual core which is the D805 i think, but if you are after raw performance get a AMD X2 4800+

Intel still leads the budget pricing for the dual-cores. specially those 805 which costs 7k below
