    Default Sauna 101 - post your tips


    tried sauna earlier nya funny kaayo kay ignorante kaayo ko hahaha
    nag shorts ko sa sulod hinoon ako ra usa. any advice on what to bring?

    Im planning to bring one extra towel, pang tapis ra sa sulod sa sauna.
    ok raba ang pangligo nako before and after warm water?

    any advice on what to bring, dos and donts, and correct etiquette while in the sauna?

    never go beyond 20-30mins inside kay ma dehydrate ka... next is to bring with you a pail of water to wet yourself every now and then to prevent skin dryness og ka luto sa imong self... og di pud masunog imong buhok... ayaw jud og pataka og operate sa sauna... ask una kay hard boiled egg unya ang labas... hahahaha

    wow, masunog diay ang buhok? grabeha hahaha. 55 Celsius raman ako-a so hopefully dili mahitabo

    i just have a towel nga basa ug tubig nya sa ako face ra ibutang, pag mo init na bas-on napud nko ug tubig but mao ra.

    kinahanglan jud bas-on ang lawas from time to time? nga nagtulo naman ang singot so wet gihapon kaayo.

    gusto gyud ko mosuway aning suana ai lang, la lang ko budget...........mao ni nindot makapaniwang kung dili ganahan ug exercise sah?

    for the people out there who haven't tried sauna, wants to try or want to try sauna again, here are some tips.

    1. try to wear less clothes- usually ang sauna kay separated and panlaki ug babay. don't be ashamed to wear a towel around your waist with nothing underneath. regular sauna goers don't really mind if your naked. anad na ni sila. basin kamo pa ang mashock na naa maghuybo ug kalit sa sulod. it's a man thing.

    2. bring a bottle of drinking water - the more you sweat, the more your body losses water. plus it helps with the heat.

    3. bring a wet towel or facetowel - aside from the one you wear around your waist. when it gets too hot, put it on your head. it is the first part of your body to get warm. if makatiming mo ug kuyog nga anad na sa sauna nya magsige ug butang ug tubig sa mga rocks, use it to cover your nose and mouth so that the hot air from the rocks won't get into your throat. mura man ka masuffocate sa sobra kainit sa air, thus resulting in you going out early.

    4. don't keep on pouring water on the rocks - this is generally a newbie mistake. pouring water on the rocks makes the sauna hotter not colder. so if you feel hot, refer to nos. 2 and 3.

    5. try to stay on a high place in the sauna - to get the most of your sauna experience, one must feel the whole body become warm. remember that hot air rises. if you are in a sauna with high traffic (daghan sulod ug gawas) the sauna wont be as warm so magsige ug yabo ug tubig. ang una moinit na part kay katong naa sa taas na part. basin makasuway mo na singot na kaayo inyo upper body pero inyo tiil pwerting bugnawa.

    6. try to stay in the sauna for at least 15 mins - to get the maximum effect. if you go inside the sauna, most of them have this egg timer na naa dapit sa door. ug ikaw ra usa then just turn it over to time yourself. 15 mins ni sya.

    7. take a cold shower after - this is to close your pores. don't worry, dili mo mapasma ani. suface heat raman ang effect sa sauna sa inyo body. you may also take a shower before entering the sauna para mas lami ang feeling.

    WARNING: if you suspect that you have heart problems, always consult your doctor before enjoying a sauna experience.

    try to follow this tips and you will start enjoying sauna.

    ganahan sad ko mu try ani. asa man lain affordable ani.. ako hibaw-an kay sa yoga thai massage tag 70 man cguro to ang 15mins ..

    if asa ka mag sauna and maka offer sila ug ice together with the water mas nindut! ;D

    don't make it a habit too coz according to my boyfriend makapa sterile(makapaubos sa sperm count) daw na...mao nay giingon sa iyaha sa usa ka spa attendant sa hongkong...

    always have a liquid intake.. like water or tea after nimo sa sauna,, para di ka ma dehydrate!
