Default Financial support for illigitimate childred

Ask unta ko any legal inputs about sustento. This is my sister's case: She is now pregnant sa iya boyfriend and is due by March. The ultrasound result shows twin boys. These are blessings unta pero tradgedy is her boyfriend is nowhere to be found upon learning my sister is pregnant. Gibiyaan nlang akong manghud sa ere, mura ra syag itik, kahuman mangiti, sibat! Soon, manganak na ako sister, di jud nya kaya buhion ang twins kon sya ra usa. This is my question:

    1) Can she ask financial support from the father of her children bisan wa cla makasal? Apelido man sa ako sister ang gamiton unya sa mga bata.

    2) Do you know of any attorney who handles case like this? All we want is to ask sustento jud sa father para sa mga bata. Murag naa man na sa balaud gud.

    3) Kon dile jud mupakita ang father, unsa man buhaton? Matangtang kaha sya sa trabaho kon dile jud sya muhatag?

    Many thanks daan ninyong tanan.

I think there is an existing law covering the case of your sister. Kindly refer to the link below. The link contains the law regarding violence against women and children. It is still best to consult a lawyer. Sa PAO lang mo so that walay gasto.

you sister can sue his bf for support but of course this takes time and money. if your sister can persuade his bf to give support without going through litigation, much better. The amount of support awarded by the court will depend on the capacity of the father to give. Generally, the father cannot be dismissed from work if he refuses to give support to the babies. This is so as a person could only be terminated for cause if the wrong doing is work related.

I agree.. if later on, ang apelyido ninyo ang gamiton sa baby.. then maglisod namo pagkuha'g financial support sa guy..

Dili ninyo mapugos ang guy pag pangayo ug sustento kay in the first place, wala man sila nakasal jud.. legally dili sila binded jud.. sorry to tell you this but gigamit ta jud sa imong sis iyang utok before nya gi surrender ang iyang bandila sa laki.. nabutang na nuon sya sa countless of millions of unwed mothers na...

lisod ninyo magukod ang guy bsan mag hire pa mog attorney aron ikiha ninyo.. wala man moy lig-ong kapasaka-an e.g. abandonment.. why?? because again.. wala man silay pinirmahang contrata nga minyo sila..

DILI pud ninyo mapa tangtang ang laki sa iyang company kay ang company beyond all and everything, doesnt have any bounds on the personal lives of their employees concern.

The best thing that you or your family could do, is to PLEAD the guy.. or if you know where his place or house is.. beg, yes, BEG to him or to his family so that his family can help you with your financial support or if he has any mercy left on him.. to just support his baby..

that's all about you can do jud..

    IMHO lang..

    @ TS sakto si joshbonz.

by the way, i know someone with the same issue though he is a guy. he was served with a subpoena from the court in his town regarding financial support for his kiddo. I'm not sure though if the child is using his last name.
