i had the chance of watching the diva2diva concert at waterfront last jan 12...

its been a long time nga wala na gyud ka shoot...

and its been a long time nga wala na ka post diri...

practice practice lang ba kay murag bug-at na kaayo ang camera hehehe

canon EF 100-400Lis on canon 1dIIn : all shots taken at manual mode, i think 1/125 f5.6 man siguro halos tanan and mostly at 400mm
maayo nalang IS really works... otherwise kurog na gyud

nice shots sir. Im a newbie and would just like to ask what was your ISO setting on this. Naka 1/125 man gud imo TV with a 5.6 AV. Was there enough light at the stage? curious lang ko sa imo setting sir kay ganahan jud ko makat-on ug low light na scene. Thanks.

i was shooting between iso 640 - iso 1000, yes there was enough light. i was shooting with flash at first pero ang spot lights nga gamit nila was enough to illuminate the subject thats why if you noticed lain-lain sila color kay usahay colored ang lights ... as i have said maayo nalang kay naay IS ako lens, it helped a lot shooting at 400mm

almost, always i use spot metering not only in this kind of lighting situation. thats my default mode nga ako set sa ako cam, setting the focusing point as the metering point. i meter, and then compensate if needed depending on subject/background lighting situation. seldom do i change to other modes of metering. but for this kind of lighting situation, i just compose and shoot kay dali kaayo change ang lighting with spot lights moving... kung dugay ka mo decide to take the shot unya na meter na sa imo cam, by the time you press the shutter lain na nga spot light ang nakatotok sa imo subject then you get either over exposed or under exposed subjects in the photo ... i hope that helped a bit practice lang kay parehas ra ta hehehe forever newbie
