Help! How will you ask your supervisor if you will be absent the following day? The reason is that you will have an interview with other company.

Just file for a vacation leave... the company doesn't need to know the reason because it is personal in nature.

You can always tell them you have an appointment that you have to keep if they REALLY want to know (which is unusual).
