Default survey for those renting rooms at boarding houses

    1. Where are you currently boarding right now?
    2. Are you paying for just a bed space or the entire room?
    3. How much are you spending monthly on room rental alone?
    4. How much is your ideal budget on housing?
    5. What is your arrangement with the landlord/landlady re: water and electric bills?
    6. What will you first look for in a boarding house or room to rent (length of contract, location, hygiene, price)?

Any other comments and opinions on the above questions very much appreciated. We are mulling whether renting out rooms of our home is a good business.

Mao. Curious pod mi kung asa ta ani makakuha ug permit or unsa jud ang process. There are a lot of houses we know that accept boarders and offer bed spacers but they seem not to bother with permits at all. We read in some papers that the Bureau of Fire Protection checks dormitories/boarding houses for necessities such as first aid kits, fire extinguishers and fire exits. Other than these, wala na mi idea.

We hope Istoryans who have experience with this type of endeavor (boarders and landlords alike) can post their insights here.

kinahanglan gihapon permit bro, kay matagak man nga business nani. Unya inig kuha nimu pra sa fire protection, first nila e ask kay kung naa nkay business permit before sila mu survey sa imu place, and with that dapat naa sad kay tin from BIR (official receipt).

    Thanks for the info, evil_child.

Mu apply pa diay ug business permit even if you are also occupying the house and magdawat lang ka ug boarders to occupy the empty rooms.
