what should i do? ive already port forward my linksys router. but im confused on my modem it ask for the local ip so i put the modems ip adress and port 21 , but it also asked for the remote ip. what should i put there the linksys ip or what.

ang problema is naay DMZ and siemens tpos naa pajud DMZ akong wireless router. so unsaon man nako ni?

DMZ is not advisable since your using ftp. That's why your using ftp to have secured data transfer, right? So DMZ is not advisable.

Im not quite sure with your modem but I think modem/router ni siya. Since naay router capability ang imong modem mag open pud ka sa port TCP 21 ani same pud sa imong Linksys router. Para dili ka maglisud ipa bridge una imo modem para sa router nalang ka mag forward sa ports.

Kay for example naa kay mga games nga kinahanglan mag open sa ports mag open ka sa router ug sa modem nimu. Doble na trabaho.

Kadaghan naman ko ga set-up ug ftp pero IP address sa device ug port rman importante.
