Default networking vista and xp in vmware

I have a host Vista and a guest XP. I want to connect them together, that they could ping each other.

How do I do this? Tabang!

make a virtual network from your vista and your xp.. just check the NAT Settings

I did it..but used the host-only connection.havent tried NAT yet..anyway, I can't ping if either enables file sharing? is that normal?

Make a bridge connection between your host Vista and Virtual OS XP by assigning it IP Addresses. This will take XP access the real available network connected on your Vista.
