booting from a USB CD Rom drive

I have a CD Rom drive which i placed into a USB external CD rom drive casing...i want to install windows from the USB CD rom drive, the problem is an error message will appear ( its like a missing file) and this would prevent me from continuing the installation. Did i miss something? or am i doing the wrong thing?

boot to usb cd pwede sad na...install di-ay sa regular cd-rom aron sayun ra para dili na ka mahasol pag-sige usab sa setting.

kung win98 ang i-install, after boot sa usb cdrom, copy the installer to the hard disk, make the hard disk bootable, then install from hard disk. kung winxp, libog pod ko ngano mo error.

have u tried another os cd?

try changing from bios usb emulation, dat enables u to boot from usb devices.

win xp 1st then error.after it ng xp ko then mao gihapon...k il try sa bios kn naa bay pwede ma enable..tnx
