Mga boss pano b ma activate ung make this folder private sa Windows XP Home Edition? Nkagray kc sya and hindi ko maactivate......gusto ko kc mlagyan password ung folder ko......O bka nmn po my alam kayo n software n free for protecting and making a password for a folder.........

i think that feature is for Pro-users only. Try FolderGuard

I use Folder Lock and Hide Folders XP but since Microsoft released its own freeware for implementing a password protected folder... i'm now using it.

i doubt if there'll be a version 2 for this one. Microsoft released it as freeware and was available for download to users with geniune XP OS. Microsoft removed it from its download site after receiving lots of complaints (only a week after its release?). You can, however, still get the software from the net.

private folders should work even on XP Home. Remember though that you can only make a folder private if it is under your account folder : C:\Documents and Settings\username
