you will need a cutter, green film (or better yet - blue film), lacquer thinner and a rag (or cotton balls)

now you attach the green film to your drawing, the shiny side facing the design. apply tape so it doesn't move around. cut the positive (colored) spaces out by tracing them with your cutter. don't apply too much pressure, or you'll cut through the clear plastic thingy. when you're done, peel off the green parts where you want the paint to pass through. it'll peel off easily like stickers from a sticker book.

    Now for the hard part.

place the silk screen on top of the design (the frame facing you, of course) and apply a little thinner on your rag/cotton. not too much, or you'll burn your design! oh, and remember to use lacquer, not paint thinner or you'll mess it up.

dab the cloth with the thinner on the silk screen, making sure that the film gets a little wet. if you feel you've applied too much, IMMEDIATELY follow-up with dry cloth. repeat until you've covered your whole design.

wait for it to dry, then slowly peel the plastic thingy off. if there are details that got burned, don't fret! you can paint those parts with some nail polish.

    hope that helps.
