What's the wierdest thing you ever saw

If I remember it correctly, it was December of 2006 when me and my friend saw something wicked in the night skies. A triangle-shape object was moving in such speed heading east with lights not like from a plane and no noise coming from it. my friend immediately assumed it was not from this planet. I joked that maybe it was from the set of another StarWars installment but at the back of my mind maybe he was right.
