I didn't post anything about the Leonids for this year, because:

a) The moon's light would wash out most of the first wave meteors

b) peak time is already midmorning in the Philippines...


c) ZHR is only 150, compared to the one we observed in November 2004, about 300 per hour over the Zenith.

d) I didn't know I'd be in Marawi during the event, because observing the first wave in a city as bright as Cebu would be an almost impossible feat. If one attempts to do this within the city, then hats off for that person's patience

Will be a long time before a significant shower would occur, and I'll indeed post here if there are any to happen soon.
