    try this:
open your pictures on another pc...
    - if it opens and the problem is w/in the your pc itself
    - if it does not open and gives the same error... then theproblem is w/in the picture itself

    System32.dll

Description – Despite the genuine sounding name, the system32.dll file and process are not genuine and are definitely not desirable to have on one's computer. They are most commonly associated with the Harnig family of Trojans. These are specifically known to be downloaders that will install on your computer and wreak havoc if left unchecked.

The Harnig downloader is a Trojan and, as such, needs to be downloaded manually by the user. However, as is the nature of Trojan infections, it usually either hides as part of a “genuine” application or pretends to be a genuinely useful application in order to persuade users to install it.

Once it has installed on your computer it will alter an alarming number of registry entries. This is done so that the Trojan begins whenever you start your computer and so that it becomes more difficult to detect and remove.

In order to remain even further under the radar the system32.dll Trojan will also aim to terminate a list of processes that are known to belong to popular security applications such as antivirus and antispyware programs.

Associated Errors – The system32.dll Trojan installs on computers, alters and creates various registry entries, and closes down some security applications in order to remain hidden from the user and remain resident on the computer. It then proceeds to download dialers, spyware, and viruses from the Internet on to the infected computer.

Recommended Solution – Update all of your security software manually and run a manual scan of your system to find this and all other components of the Harnig Trojan from your computer. Repair or remove all the files that your security software finds and follow any further instructions provided. Always ensure that your security software is up to date with the latest definitions and signature releases so that you are less likely to download system32.dll and other infected files in the first place.
