CDR-King Cooling Pad Messing Up Laptop LCD Screen?

Mga computer gurus... I purchased this CD-R King cooling pad for my laptop. It was cheap and it doubled as a USB Hub at the same time.

It's been working beautifuly for almost a year now, when just last month, i noticed that my laptop's LCD started flickering, like the horizontal hold of a TV wasn't set right. I primarily focused on the screen, until i noticed that the problem came about only when the CD-R King cooling pad's fan was turned on...

My question is, is my assumption to blame the CD-R King cooling pad... reasonable?

This is a five year old laptop, which is turned on, at an average, 12 to 16 hours a day.

Any info would be great.

fans generate magnetic fields... maybe this is the reason for that. It could be messing with your LCD's inverter or video subsystem.

try another working cooling pad. kung wala gani ni na problem then kabalo na ka sa cause. sometimes things look the same but deep within naa na diay problem.
