If that's how you describe those genres, than you have NO CLUE what you're talking about.

Rock can mean A LOT of things. There are a TON of sub genres of rock. You're description is WAY too vague.

Emo died in 1984. It used to be a sub genre of punk, a means of breaking away from the over populated punk scene at the time. The nasaly kids who play 3 power chrods and whine about their girlfriends dumping them, that isn't emo.

Punk. Power chords and a way of sticking it to the man. *** Pistols, The Misfits, Rancid, etc..

Rob, i like how you captured punk's voice today: "nasaly" hahahaha! i hate them kids who sing about love. punk was about taking a stupid stand on something tehy felt really important. like drugs, ***. it was real. at least from my vantage point. but punk bands especially foriegn ones that we always hear sa MYX... ayaw nalang. flame on! j/k!
