Good day guys!

I need ur expert opinion on this one.

How am I going to configure my browsers having this setup.

Mozilla - through modem by using a 3g fone (direct internet connection)
I.E. - through company proxy server

As I have tried it, if both connections are active "direct internet connection" is automatically set as default, making all intra-net programs (thru proxy) unaccessible.

just set the IE to use proxy and point to the ip address of the proxy server. that's it.

Have done that before, the problem is I cant connect to the intranet sites.

Make sure to checked the "bypass proxy server for local address" this will resolve your intranet connection problems.

If and only if this will not resolve then go to the advance button besided the proxy address and port, on the open window add the intranet address on the exception. Hope this helps...

I have two active connections

1. LAN -> DHCP
2. Dial-up -> DHCP

as per default configuration, everytime I turn my Dial-up connection it supercedes the LAN gateway or something, cause basically both connections have different subnet mask and gateway. The thing is since IP is dynamic, I cannot change the IP addresses to conform with each other.

So sum it up. my problem is how to make lan and dial-up work together?
